Q: “What class do you teach?”

A: “I am the dyslexia specialist at Bellaire.”

Q: “What school were you employed at before coming to Bellaire?”

A: “Previously I worked at Holland Middle School as the dyslexia interventionist.”

Q: “Do you like Bellaire so far?”

A: “I love it. I love the diversity of the students. I love the diversity of the staff. I love how all the children are really concerned about their education and are really into it. That is what I really love about Bellaire.”

Q: “In your opinion how is Bellaire different from your previous school?”

A: “Bellaire is a lot more diverse and the kids are older here.”

Q: “What made you decide to specialize in dyslexia?”

A: “I have always liked working with kids who have dyslexia. I enjoy trying to help them become better. You never get rid of dyslexia it is not like you outgrow it so it is definitely struggle for students. That is why I wanted to become a dyslexia specialist, to help more students.”

Q: “Are you excited to be here? What excites you?”

A: “Yes! I noticed the energy and how the students are really into going to college or really preparing and getting themselves ready for the real world as well. So yes I am very excited. This is only the second week but I am already very excited and I am very happy to be here.”

Q: “How do you like your coworkers?”

A: “They are great. They are very friendly and diverse.”

Q: “Why did you decide to come to Bellaire?”

“When I first came to interview for the job in May we took a tour of the campus and I really liked it.  I just loved the diversity. I am so glad to be here and I know it is going to be a great year.”
