#hoopingforluv scores community’s hearts after tragic losses
On March 29th at 5:00 pm, #hoopingforluv took place at Butler Stadium for a basketball game between four teams: Team Brittanie, Team Jade, Team Shelby and Team Bri. Their closest friends organized this event. eMotions Dance Company also came to support and dance for the event, and the radio station 97.9 The Box came and acted as announcers. #hoopingforluv managed to pull in members of the school, neighborhood and city together in an uplifting event that represents the outpouring of affection shared throughout the community for these tragic loses.
