On Tuesday, December 1^st, the guitar concert took place in the auditorium. Teachers Mr. Grigassy and Mr. Moore led the concert, in which the advanced guitar students performed for a wonderful audience. Junior Keilone Guillory, a member of the guitar program, talked about the concert.

“I think the best part of the guitar concert was getting to see all the students play.” Guillory said. “I love playing guitar because I love getting to make music and discovering new sounds.”

The students of the guitar program played numerous songs, all on acoustic guitars. The class practices with these guitars every day, working up to their big performance. The teachers each led in with a small speech, and followed with wonderful music by the students.

“I like the class because my teacher helps me with the songs I want to learn,” Guillory said. “And he gives me suggestions on what I can play.”

Overall, the concert was a success and the students, both performers and audience alike, enjoyed all of it.
