Samara Zuckerbrod Profile
Most students stress about classes, volunteer work and being on a team sport. However, Samara Zuckerbrod understands these stresses and much more. Not only is she balancing her full schedule of classes, but also she participates in more than one sport at school, as well as focusing on her newfound modeling career.
Participating in cross country, track, and swim, Zuckerbrod explains why she has so many extracurricular activities on her plate.
“I love being able to do something other than schoolwork at school,” Zuckerbrod said. “You do the same repetitive things every day, but it is always new in a sport. Also, the teams are really fun.”
If being active in several sports of the same season wasn’t enough to fill someone’s plate, Zuckerbrod is also learning the ropes of being a model.
“I went to a modeling boot camp in June, and they took three months to review me to see if they wanted me in their agency,” Zuckerbrod said. “Now I am part of the agency.”
However, modeling was not the only thing she was participating in, and Zuckerbrod was also looking to expand her options.
“I am taking some acting classes with my modeling agency because they wanted me to do that,” Zuckerbrod said. “It has definitely opened opportunities for me.”
Participating in so many activities can seem exciting, but these tasks require a lot from Zuckerbrod, and who maintains a good work ethic.
“I have to do a lot of work on the weekends, and I do not do many things outside of school and modeling,” Zuckerbrod said. “You just have to make sure you do everything before it is due and do not waste time with pointless things. I know I cannot waste my time every night by going out with friends or watching TV.”
Sometimes, there are things that Zuckerbrod has to give up or choose between. However, no matter how many things she has to balance, there is always a bright side.
“I do not hang out with as many people as I normally would, and sometimes I have to skip sport practices for a photoshoot,” Zuckerbrod said. “You get to know new things, and I really like meeting other people, because they are fun, and I like to hang out with them.”
Zuckerbrod enjoys having many things to do and hopes to continue modeling in the future.
