With the end of the spring semester comes the end of many sports seasons. However, for the class of 2014, the end of second semester brings the final minutes of senior athletes’ games. Senior night is a tradition shared among all sports, honoring players who have dedicated countless days and effort, Seniors look back on their high school athletic careers and be reminiscent of all the times they have had, both good and bad.

Varsity forward Camille Black remembers the final night that group of seniors played together as fun and rewarding. She describes how all 10 took the field and started the game together, putting forth their best effort. She also recognizes the importance of seeing teammates with their families and learning about their post high school plans.

“Senior night was fun because you got to see everyone and their families and hear about their future plans after high school,” Black said. “We all got to start and got to be together for one last home game and put in even more of a team effort to win the game. It was the last time us 10 seniors ever played together at the same time for the same team, so it was our final chance to play really well together and represent our team. We’re all excited for next year’s team to see how they play and how their season goes, and we’re hoping they learned from playing with us and use that to continue to advance in their skills and standings.”
