OUTside the Grey Light
Sometimes when I sit down to do my homework after a long day of school, I feel this weight of discontent fall upon my shoulders the moment I set my books out put my pen to paper. This graphic, OUTside the Grey Light, shows how I feel sometimes when I am made to think inside of the bubble I am told to stay in. In most cases, we as students are told to think inside a certain sphere of thought but outside that sphere is a world that school doesn’t know about, a world that cannot be graded or measured. It’s our character, our talents, and our special quirks that make our individual minds unique. I guess that’s my view, I just had a moment when I wanted to draw and express how much more a person can be when you don’t measure them by numbers on a report card or words on a page.
