Glory, Britney Spears’ album that dropped on Aug. 26, 2016 was predicted to make the top of charts and stay there. The album began at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 and by the week of Oct. 29 Glory was all the way at the bottom at No. 200, and is currently not even on the list. For Spears’ fans this was a big letdown, because her last album to hit No. 1 was Femme Fatale in 2011 and No. 3 is not the spot fans thought Glory would come in at, but on Nov. 18 there seemed to be some hope. Spears released the music video to the eighth song on the album, “Slumber Party” featuring Tinashe. The video has more choreographed dancing like most of her earlier music videos including: “…Baby One More Time,” “Toxic” and “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” Recently Spears has been doing less dancing in her videos and relied on an actual plot in the video to entertain the viewer instead. In the 2011 hit “I Wanna Go” the first 40 seconds of the video is her in a press conference speaking to reporters which is one of her first videos not to have clips of dancing in it. “Slumber Party” reminded Spears’ fans of her original work which had a 90’s vibe.
