Pallavi Gorantla, Online Assistant Editor-in-Chief

Pallavi Gorantla, Online Editor-In-Chief, is a senior and third-year staffer. She is a member of the Women in STEM club and the Bellaire Belles drill team. Outside of school, Pallavi dances, volunteers at hospitals, and loves to window shop. You can always find her binging a Netflix show and eating Ben & Jerry’s. In her free time, she loves to watch reality TV and the Astros.

The National Education Association and the National Parent Teacher Association have suggested that a healthy number of hours that students should be spending can be determined by the "10-minute rule." This means that each grade level should have a maximum homework time incrementing by 10 minutes depending on their grade level (for instance, ninth-graders would have 90 minutes of homework, 10th-graders should have 100 minutes, and so on).

Sophomore Ella Lee started her youtube channel back in June 2019 and since then, the channel has gained 1,960 subscribers. She makes lifestyle videos like room decoration and day in the life videos. Lee has made 23 videos so far and hopes to inspire young girls and be seen as an influencer in the future.
