“The Golden Globe Awards are one of the few awards ceremonies to include both motion picture and television achievements,” according to the Golden Globes website. The Jan. 7 event gained over more than 9.4 million viewers online.

Fashion – top notable fits:

Taylor Swift ditched her classic red lip look and switched to a more muted pallet, featuring an all-green gown. Fans speculate that this unusual choice for Swift might be hinting at a re-recorded release of “Reputation.” Swift only has two albums left to re-record: “Taylor Swift” and “Reputation.” There have been many online discussions about which album she will choose to release first, and both her dress choices for the Golden Globes and her black clothing for the TIME Person of the Year photoshoot definitely fits in with the darker “Reputation” themes.

While Margot Robbie couldn’t recreate all the iconic Barbie looks at the world premieres due to the SAG-AFTRA writers strike, Barbie premieres were canceled; the Golden Globes was the perfect opportunity to bring it back. Robbie showed up and showed out with her recreation of Red Carpet Barbie.

Jo Koy: The comedian who hosted made several distasteful jokes. Here are the two we found most notable.

“Barbie”: Koy said Margot Robbie was a character actor because Barbie had “flat feet, bad breath and cellulite.” The joke was rude and showed that he completely missed the point of the movie. “Barbie” was made to combat the comments that people like Koy would make about women’s bodies.

Taylor Swift: Koy claimed that the NFL now consists mainly of camera shots regarding Swift’s new relationship with Kelce. Swift does not have any control over how much screen time she gets on the NFL, so the joke didn’t really land.

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were seen making out multiple times while in the audience, and all of their PDA was a bit too much. There is a time and a place for everything, and I don’t think an awards show is the place for that.
