[PHOTO ESSAY] Pie-A-Teacher fundraiser

The Black Student Association hosted their first pie-the-teacher fundraiser on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Students were invited to “pie” either one of the five volunteer teachers or their friends on the courtyard. Taylor McCullar, one of BSA’s presidents, expressed that the event went well as the club was able to raise over $70 in funds for future events including the annual Black History Month Program in February.

Tying into the 2024 Black History Month theme, “African Americans and the Arts,” Percy decided to really focus on the arts for this year’s AAA’s program. The program featured a total of 18 acts, from song and poetry showcases to dance, jazz band and fashion show performances.
