After listening to the entire "Iceman" album, I rank it a mid-tier Drake album. The album was released on May 15, 2026. According to a recent TPP survey with more than 200 student responses, 59% were excited for the album, while 41% were not.

Drunken noodles, a popular post-drinking meal intended to sober up the individual, are garnished with chili oil and lime. Our waiter recommended that we thoroughly mix the dish as the chili oil, the main contributor of spice, floated above the noodles.
Bringing the heat
Sophomore and Corporal Hailey Wong executes a floor during Varsity’s Jazz dance to “Burnin’ Up” on stage. “We had a lot of morning practices and after school rehearsals to prepare for the show,” Wong said. “In these practices we ran through every dance and re-spaced them to fit on the stage since we are usually dancing on gym floors.”

The release of the movie increases both the memorabilia and the fanbase of the book. The movie came out on March 20th, 2026.

Seniors defeat juniors 22-8 in the annual Powderpuff football game fundraiser
Varsity Red Bird Productions (RBP) members and juniors Audrey Lawrence and Sierra Little embrace each other while singing “End of the Line” from the musical “Theory of Relativity” by Neil Bartram. “Towards the end, I hoped we woke the audience up, got a few laughs and gave them joy,” Little said. “I hope they walked away thinking that was a funny show.”

Varsity girls lacrosse fall short of Lamar
Baltus Van Tassel, played by junior Davis Adams, describes to senior Aiden Gross in the role of Ichabod Crane the haunting past which the town holds. Tassel told Crane about the German spirit who was killed at a tree down the path to his house and now haunted the town.
A headless hunt for the top
Senior and Major Vivienne Chen performs a tilt kick to the song “Smoke Signals” by Phoebe Bridgers. The dance was choreographed by the entire officer team and was performed in the student choreography section of the Dance Montage performance.

Senior Keith Luo is a third-year staffer and the head photographer/chief photo editor for the Three Penny Press. He joined TPP to showcase his passion for photography and to improve his writing and social skills. Oftentimes, you can find Keith brainstorming new recipes to try out and write about in Keith’s Kitchen. Outside of TPP, Keith is also a member of the varsity tennis team, varsity guitar team and is the president of Rice Club. In addition, Keith is heavily involved in the world of dance, photographing for Soundbox Studios and World of Dance alongside the Bellaire performance teams.
McKenzie Le
McKenzie Le, Editor-In-Chief
As a senior, McKenzie Le is one of four Editors-in-Chief in the Three Penny Press. With a passion for storytelling, she joined the Three Penny Press to share stories of the Bellaire community through the art of journalism. Aside from TPP, she is involved in other organizations, leading the Vietnamese Student Association, National Honor Society and more. She is also an active dancer on Belles. During her free time, if she is not snuggled up with one of her cats and a new book, you can find her on the courts, fueling her new hyperfixation of pickleball.
Skylar Lew
Skylar Lew, Photo Editor
Junior Skylar Lew is a second-year staff member on TPP. She is one of five photo editors and enjoys the photography aspects of journalism. Lew is the Lt. Colonel of Belles and Historian for both Rice club and the Vietnamese Student Association. Lew is also a member of NHS and active in AI club, Save the Children, Letters of Love and many more. In her free time, she enjoys karaoke, traveling, and sleeping. Lew is excited for another year with TPP.
