[News brief] UNICEF Club sells succulents for Valentine’s Day

UNICEF club is selling succulents for Valentine’s Day. Stop by Room 3707 (Ms. Carcedo’s Room) to purchase one.

UNICEF Club is selling Valentine’s Day succulents with Sour Patch Kids for $5 from now until Valentine’s Day. To purchase a succulent for a teacher, large sized succulents are $6. The large succulents are for staff only, you cannot buy those for your friends.

“Succulents are a cute alternative for a Valentine’s Day gift and they last a long time,” co-president Leah Chen said. “Each one comes with candy and buying one supports a good cause as all profits are going to UNICEF.”

To purchase a succulent, stop by room 3707 (Mrs. Carcedo’s room) or approach a UNICEF member. Buyers will need to provide the recipient’s room number and period. Payments can either be paid cash or Venmo. All proceeds go to UNICEF, who provides humanitarian aid for children around the world.

The succulents will be delivered on Valentine’s Day to the recipient’s room.
