Lauren Sonik is not, in fact, related to the founders of the popular fast-food restaurant chain, nor are her parents responsible for the creation of that beloved blue hedgehog character of the videogame (so don’t ask her). She is, however, a senior writer for the Three Penny Press in addition to being a stressed out senior and varsity Belle Honor Corps member. When Lauren isn’t dancing at football games, competitions and other miscellaneous events, she’s tearing it up in room 340 on press nights with lots of tortilla chips and queso. She would describe her alter-ego as “someone who isn’t as strange and probably has better hair/less questionable social skills”. She enjoys binge watching episodes of Parks and Rec, being mangled by her cat and laughing at weird jokes on Tumblr with her younger sister Stephanie. No, they are not twins.
