Friday, April 4th, the Varsity Women’s Soccer team took on Memorial High School’s Women’s soccer team at the playoffs game at Tully Stadium. What was different about this game is that the team was missing two of their most valuable players.  Senior Sarah Battles, center mid and forward, was out due to a tear in her ACL and junior Clare O’Gara, center defense, had a sprained ankle.

Sophomore Emma Cohn gave some insight on how the game went.

“We didn’t really play as well as we normally do, but we worked with what we had and gave it our all. As a team we had to step up and manage to play without Sarah and Clare.”

The final score ended up being Memorial 6-0. While this was a bittersweet ending to the season, the amazing soccer team managed to make it to playoffs without a single loss.
