We usually eat ice cream or cookies by themselves. But why not eat them together? Smoosh, a food truck typically located in the Rice village, offers the ultimate ice-cream sandwich.

Smoosh gives you the option of creating a custom ice-cream sandwich at an affordable price of $3.75 (not including toppings). You fist pic your flavor of freshly baked cookies, including peanut butter, sugar, chocolate chip, etc. Then you chose one of their freshly made ice-creams to go between the two cookies. Flavors include chocolate, vanilla, butter pecan, French vanilla, mint chocolate chip, peanut butter brownie, strawberry, apple pie, and the flavor of the month. Next comes the toppings which vary from marshmallows to bacon bits.

I decided to go with sugar cookies stuffed with a scoop of French vanilla ice-cream topped with sprinkles. The final product was delicious. The ice-cream was a perfect temperature/texture between the two warm cookies. It was soft enough to bite into without having it drip and cause a mess.

With other options on the menu including milkshakes, sundaes, and floats, there will surely be something that everyone likes. The ice-cream sandwich is the most popular selection though. Smoosh is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth in a unique, fun, and delicious way.
