All 725 members of the class of 2025 left their third-period classes yesterday to pose for the senior panoramic photo, continuing a long-standing Bellaire tradition.
“I don’t want to say [it feels] surreal because we were all expecting it, but it was nice to talk with others in line before we got up on the stands,” Nathaniel Allen said.
Following the announcement that interrupted sixth period on Tuesday, seniors received more information about the upcoming senior panoramic photo via Remind.
“It’s just exciting,” Tejeshwar Jayaram said. “I didn’t hear [the announcement] during sixth period. I only saw it on the Remind message when I was at home, so I really didn’t prepare for anything. I just saw the dress code and decided from there what to wear from there.”
Walking out to the visitor’s parking lot, seniors squeezed into an chalk-marked outline of the No. 25 for an overhead shot.
“I didn’t really know what we were doing at first,” Leonardo Andrade said. “We clustered into the 25 and looked up at the camera above our heads. When the lady told us to squat down to take the photo, I thought she was joking.”
After the overhead shot, seniors lined up in height order, from tallest to shortest, along the parking lot perimeter to file into the stands.
“It’s nice that I can go back in a few years and search for me and think back on my time at Bellaire,” Amelie Rozowski said. “When I was a freshman, my brother was a senior. I remember seeing his panoramic photo and thinking that was going to be me in four years.”
The panorama is a long-standing Bellaire tradition that ensures each graduating class gets at least one photo together before graduation. This year’s photo captured the complete Bellaire class of 2025, including in the front rows: administration, counselors, Belles, Student Council, cheer, and other class leaders.
“Taking the photo made me feel really happy and reflective of the last four years here at Bellaire,” Student Council vice president Luke Wang said. “I also realized how big the school is and how many people are actually in my grade. I’m glad Student Council was called to the front; I’m happy that the school recognizes what we do.”
The panoramic pictures are available to purchase from the Goldbeck Co. today during Cardinal Hour for two price packages: $35 for two pictures and $45 for three. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, credit card, check or Apple and Google Pay.
