Sophomore Zoe Gamboa is a first-year staffer on Three Penny Press. She joined TPP to make use of and to advance her passion for writing and reading, all while learning how to work in the many different journalistic sections of writing and multimedia. Around Bellaire, Zoe can actively be found in Food For Houston, FCA, and Movie clubs. Some of her favorite leisure activities are reading books of any genre, listening to music, and as she considers herself an enthusiastic cinephile, watching films.
Marielle Le
Marielle Le, Reporter
Marielle Le is a sophomore and an enthusiastic first-year staffer. She joined TPP to sharpen her writing skill and give fellow Bellaire students a closer look at the inner workings of the school. She’s an active Bellaire athlete, competing in cross country and racing the 400 meters and 4×400 meter relay on the varsity track and field team. Marielle loves to listen to music to the point that her airpods are practically an appendage. When she’s not in school or at practice, she’s likely hitting the gym or thrifting with her friends, latte in hand!
Alav Madani
Alav Madani, Reporter
Alav Madani is a sophomore and first-year reporter for TPP. She joined to meet new people along with their talents and dive deeper into the world of journalism and writing. In addition to debate and piano, she enjoys spending her free time hanging out with friends, keeping up with Real Madrid, and playing soccer.
