Sophia Hernandez, a junior and a first-year staffer, enjoys her computer science classes and is an officer for Student Council, League of United Latin American Citizens, Partners in Health and French National Honor Society. As soon as the dismissal bell rings, she’s at home watering her plants, sending memes to her friends and planning her next international trip. She also stays active in Girl Scouts and enjoys volunteering at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. She deeply cherishes her cat Abby and hopes that one day society will realize that cats are truly the superior pet.
