Nanjundan said she knew she wanted to play Abigail the moment Red Bird announced they would be producing "The Crucible," and screamed when she saw she got the part. "We haven't been able to do a lot of live theater this past year," Nanjundan said. "So seeing a show that I really love come alive has just been amazing."
